Introducing People First
Last week we launched a brand new HR platform for the TLH team. People First is a web and app-based platform which gives department managers and team members instant access and control over typical HR processes. These include making holiday requests, reporting an absence, booking appraisals, praising team members and viewing our organisational chart in real-time.
So much positivity
Our HR Manager Sophia Bickle was key in implementing the new system and provided training to our team members prior to the launch. Sophia commented:
“Prior to the launch of People First, we were using some more outdated systems so there was no better time to invest in new technology. The implementation of People First is going to support our teams as we move into an exciting new phase as a company. The feedback so far has been overwhelmingly positive with team members being able to see their holiday entitlement in real-time and digitally request leave days without the concern of lost bits of paper. TLH team members have immediately engaged with the recognitions feature on the platform and have been praising those within their teams and the wider resort. It’s been great to be able to see so much positivity and support being shared!”

New features coming online
Over the next two months, we will be launching the additional features within People First allowing us to take bookings of training courses and 1-2-1 appraisals online. This will give the team members more control and visibility over their learning and development as their careers progress at TLH.
This is a powerful HR tool, which will help our team members in a number of ways. We can’t wait to see how the use of this platform develops and benefits our teams!
