Paignton Festival 2024
This year’s event will take place from Saturday 20th to Sunday 28th July. Paignton Festival is run by a small team of dedicated volunteers, who rely solely off donations from the public and local businesses and traders. Without financial support from them they would be unable to put on this successful event every year.
Previous programmes have included Anderton and Rowlands Fun Fair, Party on the Green, Torbay Old Wheels Classic Car Show, Family entertainment on stage from majorettes, local bands, holiday park entertainment, plus more. FIND OUT MORE
Children’s Week 2024 in Paignton
Welcome to a free week of fun for all kids both young & old from 20th-24th Aug ’24. Children’s Week really is part of Paignton’s History. Funded entirely by local businesses, local residents and visitors alike always enjoy this week of free entertainment on Paignton seafront. FIND OUT MORE
Cockington Sculpture Trail 2024
The popular Cockington Court Sculpture Trail, which sees contemporary sculptures appear around the grounds of Cockington Court is set to return for 2024, opening to the public from 28th July – 3rd November. The Trail runs every year throughout the summer until November. Make sure you collect a trail map from the Visitor Centre. FIND OUT MORE
Torbay Steam Fair 2024
Torbay Steam Fair is now one of the biggest events on the English Riviera events calendar and attracts visitors from far and wide. It takes place on the August 2nd, 3rd & 4th. Situated just outside Brixham on the main A3022, this 3 day event is a must for all the family. Children’s Entertainment, Craft and Model Tent, Awning Displays and Charity Stalls, Catering Facilities, Beer and Tea Tents. A truly special day out, one not to be missed! FIND OUT MORE
Marldon Apple Pie Fayre
This event takes place on Saturday 7 September 2024. The Marldon Apple Pie Fair has been going since 1888 in memory of local farmer, George Hill, who would use his windfall apples to bake an enormous apple pie for the village. Nowadays, locals and visitors alike join in the celebrations. Events throughout the afternoon include local arts, crafts and food stands, falconry displays, games and even a novelty dog show!
