TLH Bowling
TLH Leisure Resort is a popular choice for indoor and outdoor bowls tours. The English Riviera has plenty to offer in both the summer and winter months, making TLH an ideal destination to combine your tour with a short break. Our in-house team of experts are on hand to help you with all of the organisation and Sarah Vinnicombe, our resident Bowls Co-ordinator, will make help to organise your games against local clubs, or other indoor touring sides.
Stunning outdoor greens
The English Riviera and South Devon have some superbly located bowls greens, many with stunning views.
Summer touring sides can enjoy fixtures at any of 20 clubs within 12 miles of TLH Leisure Resort and all fixtures and transport can be organised for you.
You can rely on our expert team to help you book and organise your bowls tour with us. Group organisers are welcome to book a complimentary familiarisation visit.
Outdoor Tours
April to September
- Play at any of the 20 local clubs within 12 miles of TLH Leisure Resort
- Fully inclusive touring with transport arranged by a local company (additional costs apply), rink fees and accommodation
- Flexible lengths of stays and arrival dates
- Rain needn’t stop play! You can bowl on our 4 rink indoor arena if the weather takes a turn for the worse (subject to availability).
Indoor Tours
October – April
- Use of the indoor bowls arena included in your price
- Fully inclusive touring with transport arranged by a local company (additional costs apply), rink fees and accommodation
- Weekend or midweek tours are available
- Play against other touring sides in the hotels at the time or local sides who love to come and play our guests
- All the arrangements are made for you
- Plenty of help and advice at every step for tour organisers
Short Mat Tours
If you’re interested in organising a short mat bowling tour, you’ll be well catered for at TLH. We have a choice of ballrooms where we can host your games or our indoor arena can take up to 16 mats.

We have enjoyed our bowling competitions at TLH Leisure Resort. We have stopped in both the TLH Derwent and TLH Toorak Hotels and both are good value for money. The food is excellent and the bowling competitions are well organised. We hope to return very soon.

We love this hotel and have stayed there four years in a row. The location is perfect. It’s near to the sea and shops, has pretty grounds, the staff are amazing and the food is delicious. We always stay at the TLH Toorak Hotel and enjoy their annual Boogaloo music weekends.
